The Crossing: Field Trip
First Avenue, Downtown Seattle
The first in line is looking up (and back) at The Hammering Man, a ~50' movable sculpture in front of SAM: the Seattle Art Museum. The last in line -- the little girl -- I love her exuberant tromping.
One of the inspirations for The Crossing is Iain McMillan's famous photograph of the Beatles crossing the street on the cover of Abbey Road. It's a photographic dream to go there someday and recreate an homage of that shot, just for the fun of it. If you're a band looking for a photographer to do it, you've found your girl. ;)
