Mother and Child Pike Place Market, Seattle The very first Starbucks is located in Pike Place Market. Right outside its front door, local bands and buskers perform to the passing crowds. We were all standing in a crowd listening to a local band play. I find that when I'm in a crowd there are always one or two faces that sort of stick out for one reason or another. This was one of those faces: to me, this child positively glowed and would have been enough to make the moment worth capturing, but the loving expectant mother's hand on the shoulder gets me every time I look at it.
